She is thought to have married Rem Dorland, b 1709 (The Dorland Enigma Solved, Barbara Barth, pg. 24), but that seems doubtful as there appears to be no definite identification of her surname.  The will of Elizabeth Durlan, written on 2 Jan 1777 in Jamaica South, Queens, NY, mentions her cousin William Pettit who is to have use of her property until Elsje Remsen, daughter of Elizabeth Remsen, deceased (not mentioned in the abstract), reaches the age of 21.  She and her sister, Elizabeth (presumably older) are to share the remainder of the estate after bequests to William Pettit of £50, John Remsen £10 & his sister Annetje £10.  Executors were Dow Ditmars, Jr., and Garret Durland.  Witnesses were Elixabeth Pettit, John Pettit, and William Hawhoy.

"Sept. 1 2th, 1753 (Amboy).—John Phenix tells me his brother-in-law, Wm. Wortman, desir's he may have the refusall of the lott his father, Andries Wortman, lives on; thinks he will not stick at giving 50/—pr. acre in payments."

Journals of Andrew Johnston, SCHQ Vol 3, pg. 278

"1755, Dec'r 5, Mat.—Benj'm Suttfin inclines to buy lott No. 19 at Peapack on which Andries Wortman lives. I told him the lowest price is 50/— pr acre in three pay'ts, the first on the 1st May next, and that I must first heare from Wortmans sone William before I can bargain with him the refusall. Journals of Andrew Johnston, SCHQ Vol 3, pg. 262

Possible child baptized at RDC of Readington, NJ:

6 Aug 1757, Wilhelm Woertman and Margaret, Samuel

Andrew Bloomfield was indebted to him on 11 Apr 1752. Middlesex Court of Common Pleas image 163.  Defendant lived 1 1/2 miles from Raway Mills.

William owned land in the Peapack patent, mentioned in a deed on 11 Aug 1749.  East New Jersey Land Records, Richard S. Hutchinson, Book G2, pg. 62.

He was witness to the sale of a piece of land in Piscataway, Middlesex, NJ on 16 May 1754.  East New Jersey Land Records, Richard S. Hutchinson, Book H2, pg. 143.

William’s will written 1 Mar 1765 at Piscataway, Middlesex, NJ mentions wife, Margaret; children: Andrew, Anna Maria, Margaret, David, and William Hallemus.  The farm where he lives is to be given to his son, David, and William Hallemus, presumably his son, but not specified as such in the abstract of his will.

There is a William Halmus Weart of Amwell, Hunterdon, who died before 6/6/1774 when his will was proved.

Children of WILLIAM WOERTMAN and MARGARET UNKNOWN are:

Matthias’ will (as Mathew Ten Eick) mentions his grandsons, Matthew Van Pelt and Andrew Van Pelt.  They are probably sons of his daughter, Catherine, but that is unclear.  His son, Andrew, apparently had no children as the land he inherited is to pass to them at the death of Andrew and his wife.  He mentions his daughter, Jane (no married name) and his grandson, Matthew Woodward.  His will mentions his wife, Eleanor, so Aeltje had probably died.  It also mentions his brother, Peter.

Journal of Andrew Johnson, SCHQ Vol 2, pg. 123.
